Kerala

In the midst of September we visited the beautiful state of Kerala and my goodness, we were definitely in the lap of nature! Aptly called “God’s own country”, Kerala ensures that your visit will definitely be one of the best memories for a lifetime.

We visited Kochi, Munnar, Thekkady and Allepy in our short trip. With the season of monsoon just over, the lakes and rivers were overflowing with joy πŸ™‚ There were plenty of natural waterfalls which made the road trips wonderful! Also, where else do you spot a herd of elephants roaming freely and enjoying their life? Here is the answer! We also stayed on a houseboat for a day and loved our stay in the backwaters of Kerala.

Here are few pictures from the trip. Enjoy!

Hey! I’m travelling to Kerala for 3 nights and we have no idea where to stay. We were thinking of basing ourselves in Alleppy and travelling from there – but we love exploring so hoping that will allow us to see some different things. If you have any recommendations let me know!

Hello glittergirl08 πŸ™‚ Good to know that you are travelling to Kerala soon! I started from Kochi and went to Munnar, then to Thekkady and finally ended up in Alleppy. If you are starting from Alleppy then you can go your way down to Munnar and continue to Kochi. Have fun!
